Join fellow motorcycle enthusiasts for a scenic ride through parts of Madison and Onondaga counties as part of the sixth annual Ride for Clear Path on Sunday, Sept. 30.

More than 400 riders and non-riding participants attended last year’s event, which begins and ends at Clear Path for Veterans, 1223 Salt Springs Road, Chittenango. The event features an approximately 70 minute-long ride along a rural trail that will pass through a couple of villages. One highlight for riders and passers-by is the pass through the village of Chittenango.

All motorcycle riders should check-in on the day of the event between 10-11 a.m.; kickstands are up at 11:30 a.m. A barbecue lunch provided by Clear Path’s culinary team will be served at 1 p.m. followed by presentations and raffle drawings.

One highlight of the event will be the drawing for the winner of the Southern Hills Posse’s raffle of a 2018 Harley Davidson Street Bob or a 2018 Honda Pioneer Side by Side ATV; only 1,500 tickets were produced and may be available for purchase the day of the event.

Specific ride instructions will be given the day of the event, and riders are asked to familiarize themselves with their bike prior to the ride.

The ride will be held rain or shine, and all riders and passengers must sign a waiver and liability release. Tickets are on sale for $20 per person until Sept. 23.
