Say Goodbye to Weeds—Naturally!

Tired of battling weeds in your garden and lawn? Many traditional weed control products contain artificial chemicals that harm our environment, wildlife, and even our health. Research has linked these chemicals to the decline of pollinators, birds, and other vital species. But there’s good news—you can maintain a beautiful, weed-free yard without harmful chemicals!

Join us for a two-part gardening workshop series led by local gardeners and the Onondaga County Master Gardener at Clear Path for Veterans. Attend one or both to gain expert knowledge on maintaining a healthy, thriving outdoor space.

📅 Workshop 1: Natural Weed Control
🗓 Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 6 p.m.

Learn eco-friendly alternatives to chemical herbicides, proactive techniques to prevent weeds from taking over, and sustainable practices to protect your yard and local ecosystem.

📅 Workshop 2: Environmentally Friendly Lawncare
🗓 Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 at 6 p.m.
You can make a few simple changes to your lawn care routine so your grass looks great while being safer for people, pets, and the environment. This workshop will teach you how to choose the right seed mix, improve soil conditions, and mow properly to reduce water and fertilizer use. We will also explore common lawn weeds, pests, and diseases, and how to manage them using safe, pesticide-free methods.
