Growing Garden Giant Mushrooms with Fruit of the Fungi

In partnership with KC and Kristine Mangine, owners of Fruit of the Fungi, Clear Path for Veterans will host a how to grow your own mushrooms workshop. Guests will leave with a Garden Giant mushroom kit to grow their own mushrooms at home.

The Garden Giant better known as King Stropharia or the wine cap mushroom, has a delicious mild potato cooked in red wine flavor, is low in sodium and calories, and is fat and cholesterol free. Garden Giants are a great source of iron, protein, and calcium and are easy to grow in your home garden!
